I’m a multifaceted artist, naturalist, photographer, conservationist, and adventurer, deeply passionate about portraying the beauty of the natural world through visual storytelling. Though my path has been anything but linear, it has always circled back to animals, art, and a desire to help people see the world — and its wild inhabitants — more clearly.
I hold a B.Sc. in Wildlife Conservation and a Bachelor of Education. After five years as a teacher, a moment of inspiration during an integrated art and science lesson reignited my creative drive and led me to begin work on an illustrated field guide of my local ecosystem. That moment marked a turning point — art became more than expression; it became a form of ecological communication.
Since then, I’ve expanded my practice beyond traditional illustration to include photography and filmmaking. Whether through ink drawings or short films, I aim to evoke intimacy, reverence, and curiosity toward the species and ecosystems I document. Videography has become a vital part of my storytelling — allowing me to capture movement, sound, and layered narratives that still images alone cannot express. I’ve developed skills in camera work, drone operation, and video editing, and I use these tools to amplify conservation efforts and elevate underrepresented voices.
My ultimate goal is to leverage art — in all its forms — for meaningful change in wildlife conservation. Following in the footsteps of early naturalists, I strive to observe and portray animals with accuracy and empathy. Through illustration, photography, and film, I aim to foster connection, shift perspective, and inspire action. I believe stories — when told with care — can change how we relate to the natural world and to one another.
