I'm a multifaceted artist, naturalist, photographer, conservationist, and adventurer deeply passionate about portraying the beauty of the natural world through my art. Despite a circuitous path, my love for animals and early artistic inclination led me to pursue a B.Sc. in Wildlife Conservation and later, a Bachelor of Education. After five years as an elementary school teacher, I felt a void, and a revelation during an integrated art and science lesson inspired the idea of creating an illustrated field guide focused on the local ecosystem. This sparked my return to art as a means of expression. Since then, I've honed my skills, explored various visual art mediums, and contributed to a campaign for Save the Rhino International. 

My ultimate goal is to leverage my art for positive change in wildlife conservation. Following the footsteps of early naturalists, I observe and depict animals realistically, fostering a connection to each creature. My work reflects a profound love and respect for animals, aiming to share their world intimately. Through illustrations and photographs, I aspire to capture the essence of each subject and inspire people to view animals differently, igniting a desire to protect them.
